One County Is Not Enough
Missoula County paused data center permits for up to a year. But that's just one county. Montana needs a statewide two-year moratorium and real public input before projects get approved, not after.
We are asking for:
- A 2-year statewide moratorium on AI data center development when the Legislature convenes in January 2027.
- Public input and transparency requirements before any new project is approved, not after.
